Football, the most popular sports in this planet. People enjoy every bit of it, sometimes by playing or sometimes by watching their favourite team play. Club football is the one which divides people of same country or city. People support their favourite club due to their city or it's because of their favourite player  playing.

 Everything changes when it comes to national football team. The whole nation unites. And the excitement increases couple of times more when it comes to world cup. People all over the world wait for 4 years to witness the greatest show on earth . 32 teams all over the world compete to be the champion of the world. Starting from 1930 to today 21 events of the football world cup took place. 22nd event is taking place in qatar right now. It will be a tournament of 1 almost month with 32 teams competing. 



Qatar is the first middle east country to host a football world cup. The size of the country is very small it could be compared with any of the cities of our country. Despite being small it is hosting the world's greatest show. Qatar world cup is different from others as it spends the highest number of money. Starting from building stadiums, fan village, different hotels and most importantly it's infrastructure this country spend a total of more than 200 billion USD. 

Qatar worked on their infrastructure very well to present themselves infront of the world in the best way possible. They kept in touch with their tradition and trying to portray it Infront of the whole world. This is the area they are making money. They are selling their local products to the foreigners who came to enjoy the world cup, they are selling local foods and people are enjoying it.They are also earning from their tourist spots. Their tradition or culture is so much liked by the foreigners that many non Muslims changed their religion to become Muslim

Another reason qatar world cup is different because of it's stadiums. This is the first time in the history of football air conditioned stadiums are introduced. 7 out of 8 stadiums made for the world cup is air conditioned because of the heat in qatar. They made stadiums like 974 where 974 containers are used to make the stadium. And they have been giving gifts to the fans who are coming to watch matches in the stadium.

Qatar world cup is controversial because of some incident . While making their infrastructure and stadiums for the world cup almost 6.5 thousand of people died for not having enough safety precautions and all of them were migrant workers. This is the reason many of the country wanted to boycott this world cup.

Apart from this, Qatar world cup is one of the best world cups in football history. Taking about hospitality, stadiums, facilities everything was up to the mark. The on field drama was eye catching as well. Small teams winning against big teams made the whole cup unpredictable. And this show will end within a week. The world will miss this for the next 4 years.
