BRAZILIAN'S MESMERIZING DRIBBLING SKILLS

There is a saying that "The English invented Football, the Brazilians perfected it".

Brazil is a nation known for its magnificent performance in the world of football. They are the only nation to win 5 world cup titles and play all the editions of the tournament till the date. Football is the main reason Brazil is recognized all over the world. The nation produces astonishing talents and delivers outstanding performance from time to time that blesses the nation's very own national football team and makes them the ruling nation in the world of football.

FOOTBALL: A RELIGION TO THE BRAZILIANS

The secret key for Brazilians to succeed in the world of football is mastering the sport with heart, mind and soul. Football in Brazil is like a religion. It's not just a sport to them. From kids to elders, everybody is in love with the game. The whole nation lives and breathes it, it's their culture.

Children in Brazil learn to play football anywhere. From the streets to the beach, as long as they have a ball, they play. They don't have the best condition to play it all the time. Playing football barefoot is common in Brazil and is often on concrete and terrain. Thus, it becomes much easier for them to control the ball with fancy boots on their feet due to practicing in difficult circumstances. It's a surprising fact that many school age children can control the ball better than some European professional footballers.

FUTSAL IN BRAZIL

Juan Carlos Ceriani, a teacher in Montevideo, Uruguay, created a version of indoor football for YMCAs which got recognized as 'Futsal' later. Futsal is a form of football where the game is played in much smaller spaces and requires quicker thinking, fine ball control and faster dribbling skills.

Futsal in Brazil was developed by YMCA São Paulo in 1940s due to lack of football fields to play the game. The popularity of futsal in Brazil plays an important role to produce outstanding individuals who dribbles like no one else can do. Brazilian professional athletes like Ronaldinho learnt their craft from futsal.

LEGENDARY DRIBBLERS FROM BRAZIL

Brazil has been producing legendary athletes for ages, whose standards are unmatched by almost any player in the world. Notably, Pele, the football god from Brazil who won the world cup 3 times, also the greatest player of all time, was a master of dribbling. In addition, the most popular player from Brazil in terms of dribbling, Ronaldinho used to amaze the world by performing some magical moves while dribbling that no one else can do.

Current generation athletes such as Neymar also possesses the same energy and magics that Ronaldinho had. All these players mastered some skill moves like Sombrero flick, The Elastico or flip-flap, the 360 turn etc. Brazilians master these moves to trick the opponents to dribble past them. Even 'The Elastico' is invented by another Brazilian footballing legend, Roberto Rivellino who ruled the team back in the 70s. The greatest number 9 in the history of football, Ronaldo Nazario, 2 times world cup winner, is also from Brazil. He is also known for his tremendous dribbling skills and his ability to score goals. Rivaldo and Kaka are two former attacking midfielders from Brazil, who were also known for the tricks they used to apply on the opponent defenders to break the defense line while dribbling.

DRIBBLING: THAT MADE BRAZIL THE BEST OF ALL

Dribbling is one of the most important skills in football. In fact, it is nearly impossible to break the defense line without dribbling. Brazil has shown its masterclass in the past and they are still showing.

No doubt Brazil is the only nation to produce not one or two but many skillful and talented footballers from generation to generation. Each generation gets a group of footballers that forms the national team to be the most powerful squad in the whole world. Almost everybody masters dribbling in Brazil that makes them different from the other nations. Hence, there is no doubt that dribbling is the main factor that made Brazil the ruling nation in the world of football.
